October 2024

Although I would like to blame it on the rainy season throughout much of West Africa in September, it
was probably our week long vacation to Alaska that caused an interruption of formal ministry than anything
else I could blame it on. We are not apologetic for the time off, but I am challenged to conduct missions in
the months of October and November.
As expected, the Holy Spirit has not let us down but has lined out at least seven missions for us to partake
in the month of October. Those missions are all funded, in progress, or finished, and we are confident that
He will provide according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus for those in November. I will share the
complete list with you after I share in that which we recently had the opportunity to participate.
If you have been listening to BBC Africa, then you know about the recent flooding in Maidiguri, Nigeria
located in the Borno state (NE Nigeria). It is a town of over one million people. Initially, over 400,000
people were displaced after heavy rains caused flooding and destruction of the dam that was damaged in
the 1990’s. Over two million have been affected and many have had horrible experiences in IDP camps.
By the grace of God Muhammad bin Issa’s house was not affected. I told him the reason was so that God
could use him to help others in his church who were not so blessed as he. He requested $3,000 which the
Lord provided quickly. Despite not receiving his salary by wire the first two weeks of this month, $1,500
and his salary was received within 24 hours of the wire, a miracle. He purchased mostly rice, and some
mats for people to sleep on who were staying in the homes of others unaffected. After receiving
documentation, I sent the other half. Muhammad bin Issa said the overriding need was to effect starvation
rather than a need for clothes, or drinking water, so approximately one ton of rice was purchased and
distributed, along with some mats, to about 500 people. A drop in the bucket you might say. Jesus says
obedience is better than sacrifice and we obeyed the voice of the Holy Spirit and told everyone the Lord
was the source.
As for the missions in October, from east to west, Prince will be ministering in NE Nigeria, Badr will
reach the Samogo near Sikasso, his associate Mifta reached the Malinke near Kita, Mali; Jaad will minister
to stranded gold miners near Kankan, Guinea, while Haadi is occupied with his primary ministry. He will
then in November seek to reach the Lele’ west of Macenta about 20 miles from the Sierra Leone border, he
has also recruited two men from Macenta to reach three Manya villages this month he could not reach
previously. Over 500 came to Jesus. Two more churches were established. Lamine has yet to report on his
mission to Pulaar muslims in Labe’, Guinea, and finally Cahil is currently doing a recon mission in Guinea
Bissau. The estimated costs of the missions not currently paid for in November are about $5,000. In
November, Cahil will return to Guinea-Bissau, Muhammad bin Issa will minister with Issa in Maradi area
of Niger after his daughter’s wedding. I had a request from Id which I will have to table. Badr would also
like to reach the Senofou that month, as well as Haadi’s mission. I am asking the Holy Spirit for wisdom to
know the who and when questions as well as the provision for these opportunities. Thank you for continuing
to fund this ministry to the last, the least, and the Lost But Not Forgotten.
Going with you to the unknown, to make Him known.
